Christianity is a growing community in Second Life! Churches are sprouting everywhere. There are Christian Groups, Prayer Groups, Counseling Groups, Christian Magazines, Clubs and so much more. Still with all this it is still a minority. According to a recent article in USA Today, religion makes up an extremely small percentage of the resident base on Second Life. So it seems we're outnumbered. Can we really have an effect on a virtual world whose carnal resources seem virtually unlimited? In a do anything, say anything, make anything world where no one is held accountable for their actions and nobody really cares, can Christians penetrate this wall of Cyber Secularism?
I venture to say yes! Consider Isaiah 10:21-22 says, "The remnant shall return, even the remnant of Jacob, unto the mighty God. For though thy people Israel be as the sand of the sea, yet a remnant of them shall return: the consumption decreed shall overflow with righteousness."
So regardless of our minority, Christians have a responsibility to stand out from the majority, and not only that but be bold enough to encounter the resistance from the majority, and the abuse from the griefers. We will always be a remnant, we will always be a minority. Jesus said that broad is the way that leads to destruction and narrow is the way that leads to life. We should not ever expect to be a majority but we can expect to be a "GROWING" minority. Not ALL WILL be saved, but we must declare the Gospel to ALL. Crying out to ALL who CAN be saved means that SOME WILL be saved! Let's take our stand and spread our reach to penetrate the hearts of those on the other side of the screen!

Dear mr. Brocco! Excuse that I write on german. Perhaps you can translate yourself it. It falls me so easily to expressive my would what I will to say you. sorry the bad englisch. I find it also completely important that the Christians are resprented in SL and also present them selves. In a so devilish play where many favourstoare devilish to present(play).It is importend to me to show that it can happen also humanly and like a talks and prays then about it.There is a great many humans those is very lonely in any way. Or large problems and worry in the ral world have. They hide them selves in SL behind any mask and realize their virtual life. For christian is it importent in SL to meet and also to pray and speak with other christian for them. I work much on saturday,sunday and holidays and it is often a church service attendance in the real world impossible for me. So I need the church in SL it was in the evening. In addition I am to be arranged enthusiastisally over your kind here service. Also like it on humans of your whole employment here in SL. God bless you plentifully for it and gives you strength and retaining. Good ideas and always the correct thoughts and words.

Sehr geehrter Herr Brocci! Entschuldigen Sie, dass ich auf Deutsch schreibe. Vielleicht können Sie es sich übersetzen. Es fällt mir so leichter mich auszudrücken was ich Ihnen sagen möchte. Ich finde es auch ganz wichtig,dass die Christen in SL vertreten sind und sich auch präsentieren. In einem so teuflischen Spiel wo viele Gefallen dran finden sich teuflisch zu benehen. Es ist mir wichtig zu zeigen, daß es auch menschlich und christlich und ehrlich in diesem Spiel zugehen kann. Indem man zuhört, versteht und ehrlich redet und dann darüber betet. Es sind sehr viele Menschen die sehr einsam sind auf irgendeine Art und Weise. Oder große Probleme und Sorgen in der wirklichen Welt haben. Sie verstecken sich in SL hinter irgendeiner Maske und leben ihr virtuelles Leben aus. Aber auch für und Christen ist es wichtig sich in SL zu treffen und zusamenzutreten und zu beten. Durch meine Arbeit an Samstag und Sonntag und Feiertagen ist mir oft ein Gottesdienstbesuch unmöglich. Drum bin ich um die Möglichkeit hier in SL sehr glücklich. Außerdem bin ich begeistert über Ihre Art hier Gottesdienst zu gestalten. Auch wie sie auf die Menschen zugehn. Von Ihrem ganzen Einsatz hier in SL. Gott segne sie reichlich dafür und schenke Ihnen Kraft und Bewahrung . Gute Ideen und immer die richtigen Gedanken und Worte.
